HOW to make a Plain Cake | Delicious | Recipe

Today I will tell you how to make a simple,spongy and delicious vanilla cake at home.

Ingredients Required:-
  1. Salt
  2. All purpose flour (200 gm)
  3. Sugar (100 gm)
  4. Egg (4) (optional)
  5. Vanilla Essence (1 Tbsp)
  6. Baking Soda (1/4 Tbsp)
  7. Baking Powder (1 1/2 Tbsp)
  8. Cooking Oil (100 ml)
  9. Milk (100 ml)
Steps:-
  • Let's make the batter first...
  1. Take a bowl and add all purpose flour (200 gm), baking soda (1/4 Tbsp), baking powder (1 1/2 Tbsp) & sugar (100 gm).
  2. Now mix it well with a hand blender or use a mixer grinder.
  3. After mixing it, add 4 eggs,  any cooking oil (100 ml), milk  (100 ml) & vanilla essence (1 Tbsp).
  4. Once you add these things then again mix it well (for about 1 min) with a hand blender or a mixer grinder. *NOTE: Don't mix it for more than a minute to keep your cake spongy.
  5. Now take a cake mould and grease it with oil & put your batter in it and tap it twice or thrice to remove air bubbles present in it.

  1.  Now remove your pressure cooker's rubber gasket and put the cooker on the gas stove and spread salt on its surface.
  2.  Close the cooker and heat it for 5-7 minutes on medium flame.
  3.  After 7 minutes open the pressure cooker and put a small cooling rack in the cooker and put your batter on it carefully.
  4.  Now close the cooker and bake it on low flame for about 30-35   minutes.

  6. After 35 minutes, take a toothpick or a thin knife and put it inside the cake if your toothpick or knife comes out clean, then your cake is ready. If not, then bake it for 5-10 minutes more.
