Let's Start...
- Things you will need:-
- A Magnifying Glass
- Shoe Box
- Black Spray Paint / Black Paint
- Paper Cutter
- Smartphone
- Cardboard
- Glue gun
- Steps:-
- Take the shoe box, open it, and paint the inner surface of the shoe box completely with a Black spray paint or with a black poster colour. *NOTE: Paint with only black colour. We use black colour because it makes the inner side darker which improves the quality of image produced by the projector.
- Now take your magnifying glass and cut out its lens without damaging it.
- Place the lens on the center of the smaller side of the shoe box and trace it with a pencil and cut the circle with a paper cutter.
- Now fix your lens in the circle and stick it with a glue gun *NOTE: There should be no hole or cut on the shoe box through which light can enter inside.
HOW to make a Projector - You have to place your smartphone inside the box so first, you have to make a small stand for your phone.For this you will need a cardboard.
- Cut a rectangular piece of cardboard of length 6 cm and breadth according to the length of your phone because you have to place your phone horizontally on the stand.
- Cut another piece of cardboard of little larger size than the size of your phone.Now stick this cardboard perpendicular to the previous piece of cardboard with the help of a glue gun. Your stand should look like this...
HOW to make a Projector
- Now stick double sided tape on the back of your phone and then stick your phone on the center of the perpendicular piece of the cardboard.
- Now put this stand with your phone inside the shoe box.
HOW to make a Projector
- You have to increase the brightness level of your phone & lock screen rotation and then play a video up side down.
- Now close the lid of the shoe box, turn off the lights of the room, put your projector in front of a wall and enjoy.
- If your projector is producing blurry video than adjust the focus by moving the phone forward or backward and stop when the video gets clear.
